How can I perform the Top-Up transaction or redeem the Pacific Island Top-Up voucher?
Instructions on how to top-up are stated in the Pacific Island Top-Up Vouchers. The instructions are as follows:
You need to have access to the internet in order to redeem the Pacific Island Top-Up voucher
Simply go to our website: www.pacificislandtopup.com
Compulsory registration and Login will be required in order to use the Website.
Once you login to the website, Click on the Top-Up option
Select the Voucher Top Up option
Enter the 7 digits mobile number (Vodafone Fiji or Inkk Mobile number – our system will automatically know whether the number entered is a Vodafone Fiji or Inkk Mobile number)
Then, enter the 14 digit PIN number given in the Pacific Island Top Up voucher
Next, Type in your FREE personal SMS Greeting that you would like to send to the mobile number you are topping up (Optional). You can send a FREE SMS up to a maximum of 100 characters every time you send a top-up to your family or friends in Fiji.
Click on the Submit button.
You will get a prompt stating “Recharge is Successful”
Note: Value of Top-Up will be credited on the given mobile number in Fiji in local currency.
Is there any other way to send Pacific Island Top-Up to mobile numbers in Fiji?
Currently, Pacific Island Top-Up website is the only option that allows you to directly Top Up the mobile numbers in Fiji.
What does “PIN via SMS” option mean on the website?
“PIN via SMS” option allows you to send the Pacific Island Top-Up 14 Digit Voucher PIN number free of charge to your family or friend’s mobile numbers in Fiji using the website. The PIN can then be redeemed at any-time by your family or friends in Fiji using the local top-up option i.e. by dialing *132# for Vodafone numbers or by dialing *442# for Inkk numbers.
In which currency will the value of the Pacific Island Top-Up be added to the mobile number in Fiji (Foreign Exchange)?
Value of the Top-Up will be credited on the given mobile number in the local currency of the receiving numbers country. Pacific Island Top-Up platform will be using the current exchange rates to convert the value of NZD Top-Up vouchers to FJD and credit will be added to mobile numbers in Fiji accordingly.
Pacific Island Top-Up platform maintains a fair deal policy on exchange rates. The foreign exchange rates are subject to change without any given prior notice and service fee applies.
Will the Mobile numbers in Fiji who are being topped up using Pacific Island Top-Up vouchers receive any Free/ Bonus benefits?
The bonus benefits are subjected to the promotions that are being run by the Vodafone Fiji and Inkk Mobile operators.
Currently, special promotions are being run by these two operators for Pacific Island Top-Up where receiving Vodafone or Inkk Mobile numbers in Fiji will get 4 times additional bonus free money. This bonus free money will be calculated depending on the actual amount of real credit that is added to the customer’s mobile number after applying the exchange rates and related service fee deductions. Free Money expiries will be communicated to the receiving party’s mobile number via SMS as soon as the Free Money is added.
Further to the above, mobile numbers in Fiji will also receive 30 Free minutes to call Mobiles and Landlines in New Zealand on every Pacific Island Top-Up transaction. Free Minutes will expire in 24 hours from the time of activation. This promotion will allow your family members in Fiji to call New Zealand and talk for free for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, calls will be charged at 15 cents per minute. This a great promotion that allows you send top up to your family or friends in Fiji and then ask them to call you for free using the promotion free minutes.*-
Note: Mobile network operators in Fiji reserves the right to end both of these promotions at their discretion. Promotion end date will be communicated to the customers in Fiji via SMS broadcast and information will also be updated on the Pacific Island Top-Up website.
What can I do if I have lost my Pacific Island Top-Up voucher without using it?
Pacific Island Top-Up vouchers should be treated just like cash. If you lose the Pacific Island Top-Up voucher you will not be able to replace it.
What can I do if the 14 digit PIN number in Pacific Island Top-Up voucher is not-readable?
It is your responsibility as a customer to check and ensure the 14 digit PIN number in the Pacific Island Top-Up voucher is readable when you purchase the voucher before leaving the retail outlet.
If you cannot read the 14 digits voucher PIN number, you need to return the voucher back to the retailer, who will be able to re-print the voucher for you or provide you with another voucher.
If a voucher has been taken by a customer and is returned to the retailer at a later stage the retailer is not obliged to accept it.
What can I do if the 14 digit PIN number in Pacific Island Top-Up voucher does not work or is invalid?
The 14 digit Recharge PIN number printed in the Pacific Island Top-Up voucher is unique and must be treated with care. Ensure you are entering the Recharge PIN number and not the serial number.
The following are some of the reason as to why the recharge PIN number may not be working:
You could be entering the 14 digit recharge PIN number incorrectly, please re-check the 14 digit Recharge PIN and enter again.
The recharge PIN number can only be used once, you may have already redeemed that recharge voucher.
The mobile number you are entering may be incorrect – Recharge PIN will not work and Recharge transaction will not be successful if a wrong mobile number is being entered.
What can I do if I am getting an error prompt stating mobile number entered is incorrect?
Pacific Island Top-Up voucher can only be used to Top-Up Vodafone and Inkk Mobile numbers in Fiji. Please re-check the number and ensure you are entering the correct mobile number. Vodafone Fiji and Inkk mobile numbers are 7 digits numbers.
Is there any expiry date to the Pacific Island Top-Up voucher?
Pacific Island Top-Up voucher will be valid for use for 12 months from the date of issue and can only be used once. The voucher will not be valid and non-refundable if it passes the given expiry date.
What does the serial number mean in the Pacific Island Top-Up voucher?
The serial number is used to attend to all queries regarding a particular Pacific Island Top-Up voucher. The serial number is attached to a unique Pacific Island Top Up recharge PIN number and is used to check the status of the 14 Digit Recharge PIN number. You will be required to provide the Serial numbers for all your queries regarding any particular Recharge PIN number.
